It sucks being rejected doesn’t it? It’s like going back to the days when you were a little kid asking out some hot girl (or guy) to eat lunch in the school cafeteria with you and they just laugh at you and go gossip to their friends. It’s like you have a big REJECTED stamp across your forehead. Yeah I know it sucks, I feel your pain. Actually wait, no I don’t. I never got rejected as a kid but I do feel your pain with getting rejected from affiliate networks. I know it can be so annoying getting rejected from affiliate networks so I’m going to share with you what I think will help you get accepted into them, even if it takes a phone call or a personal email at the end.
If it’s one thing I hate, it has to be filling out applications to affiliate networks. I’m not sure why, but I just hate that stuff. So before I apply I always contact the affiliate network personally and ask them if they accept incentive traffic. If they don’t, that just saves me some time and I don’t have to share my personal information with someone I do not work with.
Many people apply to affiliate networks without having a fully functional website. Make sure your website is finished and ready for the public before you sign up for an affiliate, otherwise that can be one of the reasons you get rejected.
I cannot stress enough how important this is! Having a eye catching design is something that will help you two ways; you will attract more users and affiliate networks. Would you rather have Pamela Anderson be your spokesperson or Ugly Betty? If you need me to check out your design and give you my blunt opinion, go ahead and email me.
Do I even have to elaborate on this? Please tell me I don’t.
Present yourself in a professional way. Use good grammar and know what you are talking about. This is sort of like a job application/interview, do u tlk lik dis whn u applyin fo a job?
You will not get accepted if you say things like “you and me make monies!” or “i not scam you :).”
In the past when I got rejected from an affiliate network I always emailed them back asking what the exact reason was. Sometimes it can be a small reason that you can quickly fix and get accepted. On top of that, it shows that you actually want to be in their network. I have been accepted to a few networks just by showing them I’m very interested. Well there are some tips that will help you get accepted into affiliate networks. I highly suggest you tackle all of them when applying. Remember, places like Azoogle and Hydra do not accept incentive traffic, so save yourself the hassle from applying to them. But don’t worry, these places do accept incentive traffic! |
